My little toadie

Every evening after Dottie and I take our nightly walk, I put my beat-up dog walking shoes just outside our front door to dry and air out. Lately I have noticed that my shoes have had a visitor.

Uh, I apologize for the grossness of my shoes. I did say they were torn up. A closer look at Sir Toad:

Sometimes he camps out under the toes of my shoes, since they turn up a bit. They must make very nice toad abodes (Oh my. That was terrible. Again, I apologize). I do make a point of checking the inside of each shoe before I put them on again in the morning. I wouldn't want anyone to get squished.

I DO actually have something crafty to add to this post. The Salty Not Sweet Indie Craft Show is coming up on Saturday, September 5th. It's being held from 11am to 7pm at the Quirk Cultural Center in Cuyahoga Falls. So, if you're in or around the Cleveland area during that time, check it out! Visit their website for more details.

  1. He is cute, but I wouldn't want him in my shoes. :)

    1. Haha, yep. I have a dog that likes to take her walks off the beaten path. I retired that pair a long time ago!
