A Zombie Adventure

My sister-in-law is staying with us for a while this summer as she completes an internshipLast Saturday we found ourselves near Millennium Park, home of Cloud Gate (AKA The Bean).  Neither of us had ever been, so we decided to check it out.

As we got closer to The Bean, we noticed a HUGE crowd of people.  A ridiculous number. We just sort of chalked it up to being a Saturday during the summer tourist season, and kept going.  Then, we started to notice how the people in this crowd looked.

That's right.  We were accidentally in a zombie parade.  More specifically, The 5th Annual Zombie March Chicago.  Totally unplanned.  We were just in the right place at the right time!

Once the zombie excitement was over, we finally made it to The Bean.
Let me tell you, it looks shiny and perfect from far away, but that thing is covered in fingerprints.

One our way out, we happened to catch Quinceanera photo shoot:
It was one eventful Saturday afternoon!
