DIY Fathers Day Gift Round-up

This is my favorite photo of my dad.  I think it says a lot about how I turned out.

Dads can be difficult to buy gifts for, and mine is no exception.  I will say this, though.  The less I spend, the more he likes it.  I think the most popular gift I've given him so far is a set of handmade java jackets (like the one below), and an autographed photo of Hal Smith (Otis, the town drunk on Andy Griffith) I picked up at a garage sale for .50cents.  Fathers Day is this coming Sunday, but there's still time to make your pa a handmade gift he will love!

And finally, might I suggest the Obi Inspired Hot & Cold Pack from One Yard Wonders?  I sewed one up for my dad for Christmas last year, and he uses it all the time!

  1. I love the coffee collar idea! I may do that for my dad for Christmas. Maybe a knitted one?

Thank you for all of the sweet comments, too! I was very hesitant to sew on the zipper, but the video made it soooo easy. My old machine couldn't of handled it, but the new machine made it a piece of cake!
